She is still in her teens has had a £50,000 inheritance and admitted to blowing the lot on gambling Bingo, Fruit machines (will not get off them) on-line casino anything gambling wise, now we have just found out after spending the last of her money she has used her Nan’s credit card and taken nearly £200 and spent it on fruit machines. She has finally admitted to this and is needing help. What can her family do to help her with this, as it is way out of hand.

If you have the addresses of the online gambling companies write to them to block her tell them she is a minor and below 18 (I’m assuming she is below 18)

As for the live casinos do the same tell them she is a minor and they won’t let her walk through their doors. Finally report her credit card activities to the issung bank, if they don’t block the credit card thats their loss.

Try to look for things that will distract her and keep her away from gambling. Look up responsible gaming online and learn what can be done for her.

Its a tricky one but you could tell her about poker freerolls which are free to play and you win real money. Its a good substitute for real gambling and is thoroughly enjoyable

get them to talk to you about it this way they’ll feel more relieved to get the pressure out and if they find it difficult get them to talk to other people with the same problem to try an overcome them the source below would help hopefully :)
